Objective:

The paper bag making and distribution event aimed to promote environmental sustainability and reduce plastic usage by producing eco-friendly paper bags and distributing them to the community.

Activities:

Paper Bag Making: The event kicked off with a paper bag making workshop where participants learned the art of creating paper bags from recyclable materials.

Participation: YRC Volunteers actively participated in the bag-making process. Their involvement added a sense of community engagement and teamwork to the event.

Distribution Drive: Once the paper bags were ready, the organizers conducted a distribution drive in strategic locations such as local markets, grocery stores, and community centers. Volunteers distribute the bags, raising awareness about the importance of using eco-friendly alternatives to plastic bags.

Outcomes:

Environmental Impact: By producing and distributing paper bags, the event contributed to reducing the consumption of single-use plastic bags, thereby promoting environmental conservation and sustainability.

Education and Awareness: Through workshops and distribution drives, the event raised awareness about the detrimental effects of plastic pollution on the environment and highlighted the importance of adopting eco-friendly alternatives.
