Installation of Composting Pit

"We initiated the concept of “EXCEL THE GREENER WAY”. In line with this a venture to make a manure from the organic waste available in the campus was taken up by “ECO CLUB” in association with ECOROX on 28th December 2017 in college campus. The Chief Guest for inaugural ceremony was Dr. Harssh Khanna, chairperson of Excelssior Education Society and Guest of Honor was Dr. H. S. Cheema. The institute principal Dr. Hansraj Guhilot welcomed the member from ECOROX foundation Mrs. Rashmi Joshi with a token of appreciation.

The “ECO CLUB” member Mr. Sandesh Bhingardeve appealed the staff to make conscious use of composting basket. He urged to recycle the waste in the direction of ecological conservation. The ECOROX member Mrs. Rashmi Joshi also highlighted the problem of excessive dumping of waste. She discussed various matters of environmental changes by raising poignant questions associated to global warming and its impact on climate. The principal Dr. Hansraj Guhilot stressed on the possibilities of connecting technology to this venture. CEO Dr. H. S. Cheema talked about the dire need for going green and its importance towards future development.

Dr. Harsh Khanna Mam inaugurated the “COMPOSTING FACILITY (BASKET)” by cutting the ribbon and was followed by demonstration and training of housekeeping staff for appropriate use of compost basket by Mrs. Rashmi Joshi.
